Mr. Eliezer A. Aldarondo-López joined Aldarondo & López Bras, LLC (ALB) in 2007. Mr. Aldarondo-López has extensive experience advising and representing individuals, corporations and government entities in contractual matters, government affairs, and in complex litigation before the Puerto Rico and federal courts, government agencies, as well as arbitration and mediation forums.
Mr. Aldarondo-López has successfully handled over forty appellate matters before the United States Courts of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, and the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals, including personally arguing dozens of cases before the United States Courts of Appeals. He has also successfully represented hundreds of individuals in securities arbitration proceedings.
Mr. Aldarondo-López’s areas of practice include, but are not limited to, appeals, government affairs, federal practice and procedure, securities, constitutional law, employment law, construction, bankruptcy, antitrust, regulatory investigations, class actions, permitting processes and procedures, urban development, bids and procurements, Medicaid, tort, contracts, and Puerto Rico Oversight, Management, and Economic Stability Act (PROMESA).
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Aldarondo-López interned as judicial clerk for United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit Gustavo A. Gelpí, then Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, as well as for former Chief District Judge José A. Fusté.
