Eliezer Aldarondo-Ortiz

Mr. Eliezer Aldarondo-Ortiz co-founded Aldarondo & López-Bras, LLC (ALB) in 1982. Mr. Aldarondo‑Ortiz has practiced law since 1977, and has represented thousands of clients in diverse matters before the Puerto Rico and federal courts. He has successfully litigated hundreds of complex cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, where he has also participated in several oral arguments.

Mr. Aldarondo-Ortiz is well-known for his vast experience in the operations of the Puerto Rico Government, including in areas such as: legislation, regulations, contracting, bids, procurements, class actions, and request for proposals (RFPs). Over the years, he has guided many private corporations and individuals in navigating these complex regulatory frameworks. He has also represented various high-ranking Puerto Rico government officials including, but not limited to: Governors, presidents of the Puerto Rico legislative bodies, senators, representatives, mayors and heads of government agencies.  His practice is also focused in matters related to labor and employment, contracts, insurance, construction, civil rights, and constitutional law.
